Some of the best, most anti-oxidant packed berries are wild blueberries, which have 10 times the USDA’s recommendation for daily antioxidants. Cranberries, blackberries, raspberries and strawberries are all also at the top of the list. They all have antioxidants like Vitamins A and C, and flavonoids. No wonder berries are often called superfoods!

2) Green Leafy Vegetables Green leafy veggies are detox powerhouses! They are rich in vitamins A, C, E and K, all important for cell health, metabolism and maintenance. They are also one of the best cancer-preventing foods. According to the USDA, some studies show that eating 2-3 servings a week can lower your risk of stomach, breast and skin cancer, as well as keeping your heart healthy. Especially if you are looking to achieve a healthy body weight, they are low in calories and carbs while not cutting back on the nutritional content. They are also high in fiber, which promotes digestive health. The best greens are darker, like spinach, kale, mustard greens, turnip greens and bok choy.

3) Free Range, Organic Meats  It might be strange for you to see meats on the list of detox foods. If you aim to take part in a fitness and exercise regimen, it is important that you have sufficient protein intake. The problem with many commercial meats is that they are chock full of hormones and chemicals as a result of the industrial cattle system. Free Range, Organic meats skip out on the chemicals that can damage your cells and result in toxin build up, and instead deliver wholesome, natural protein.
